The G.O.B.B project is a youth led programme supported by ECDC Sports Development Service and the Youth Service, Sutton, Ely and Littleport Team.
Our young people are aged 13-16 years old and have been engaged through a school referral scheme.
The project was launched on Tuesday 29th January with a pilot group from Witchford Village College.
The aim of this project is to use disciplined sporting activity to help the young people engage in further education and career pathways.
As a part of the project the participants will have undertake leadership accreditation schemes in sports coaching and arts development to enhance their curricular achievements.
Littleport Leisure Centre is the venue for this programme and we wish to create a full time boxing club as the end product.
At our boxing club all young people will invited to come along to join the club.
